Haley Dilley was born and raised in Northern California. She transplanted to Pocatello in 2018 and immediately fell in love with the community and Historic Downtown Pocatello. She spends most of her time with her little family chasing around her toddler and enjoying all the SEI area has to offer.

Haley has been very involved with the local community in her short time here as a small business owner and being involved in groups like Chamber of Commerce, Business Women of Pocatello, and the Chubbuck/Pocatello Leadership Program. She found that her passion lies with making change in places closer to her heart.

Her passion for serving the local LGBTQIA+ community has grown from her career, as a queer haircutting specialist with a specialty in Gender Affirming cuts, into her ambition to create change locally. Finding and creating a community that is more than nightlife, is inclusive, and that serves all parts of the LGBTQIA+ community is part of what led Haley to joining SEIPF.

“I want to create visibility, resources, and unity for all members of our community. I hope that we can create lasting connections and change.”

Taylor.jpg

Taylor Powell is a Pocatello native where she has fostered and developed a love for advocacy work on the community level. Taylor began learning about caring and advocating for marginalized communities when she graduated from Idaho State University in 2011 with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She has since worked successfully in her field as a registered nurse with particular experience and certifications in LGBTQIA+ health, care for people living with HIV, and family medicine.

Taylor brings extensive leadership, volunteer, and nonprofit experience to the SEIPF Board of Directors. She served as a Community Health Volunteer in the United States Peace Corps from 2016-2018 in Macetjeni, Swaziland. During this time Taylor partnered with a community health center and worked on many projects that included creating a teen club for youth living with HIV, an educational walking group for older women, writing technology grants for providing education in the clinic waiting room, and a men's HIV testing initiative. Her experience in the Peace Corps helped cultivate her desire to learn about race, diversity, privilege, and intersectionality. She has been able to apply much of this knowledge as she currently works for a local community health center that serves much of Pocatello’s LGBTQIA+ population as well as the other diverse groups of people in our community.

In her free time she enjoys traveling and spending time with her partner and their dog. She is an avid Idaho outdoors person and seeks to make Idaho’s hiking trails accessible to all identities and levels of ability. Taylor believes that through education, visibility, and empowerment our diverse community can come together more peacefully and more effectively.

Kellie Professional .JPG

Kellie has always been passionate about advocacy work surrounding the LGBTQIA2S+ community, so she was more than enthusiastic to join the board of SEIPF and lend her skills to Rainbow Families. She graduated from ISU in 2019 with her bachelor's degree in sociology, emphasizing gender and sexuality studies. She is working on her Master of Social Work at Boise State University and is interested in providing gender-affirming and LGBTQIA2S+-focused mental health care once she graduates. Her social work experience includes case management for individuals who experience substance misuse. She is passionate about harm reduction and helping others access much-needed resources in our community.

In 2023, she was elected for membership in the Boise State University chapter of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi for academic achievements.

Kellie also has experience working with and advocating for children and adolescents on the autism spectrum and their families, as well as individuals with disabilities. She has worked in special education classrooms in the Pocatello community. Kellie has also spent many years working at her family’s pediatric rehabilitation clinic, Speech Therapy Services, where she continues to lend her skills. She is the parent of two young adults with whom she enjoys learning and growing with. In her free time, she likes to adventure with her fiancé, including planning an upcoming wedding, spending time with her family and friends, traveling, volunteering at the Idaho Food Bank, and cozying up with a good book.

tTate.jpg

Tate moved to Pocatello permanently in 2015, but has spent their entire life in SouthEastern Idaho. Growing up with a Depression Era grandmother, Tate learned from an early age how important building a community can be. They began reaching out to local organizations for LGBTQIA+ individuals to find a family and there SEIPF was! Tate is lending the skills earned from a long history of stepping up to the plate when needed. From hospice worker to lab tech, and management to self employed, Tate has covered a lot of ground when it comes to learning on the fly.

Believing in the genuine kindness of strangers, the indomitable human spirit, and universal human rights, Tate hopes to make an impact when working with their fellow queer people.

My name is Rosario René Sepúlveda Castró, and my journey began in the charming town of Pocatello, Idaho, where I planted my roots in the year 2000.  My educational journey started at Century High School, where I laid the foundation for my academic pursuits. As I advanced through the corridors of knowledge, I found myself at
Idaho State University (ISU), College of Southern Idaho (CSI), and Boise State University (BSU), where I diligently pursued my nursing degrees.
Currently, I am on a new chapter of my academic adventure at ISU, where I am working towards my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). This pursuit represents my commitment to continuous learning and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the field of healthcare.

Beyond the academic realm, I find joy and fulfillment in a variety of activities. Whether it's the rhythmic thud of a tennis ball on the court, the rhythm of my footsteps during a run, the wind in my face while road biking, or the rush of cold air as I carve through snowy slopes while skiing, I thrive on the energy and vitality these activities bring to my life.

In the quieter moments, you'll often find me engrossed in the pages of a good book. Reading has been a constant companion, offering both escape and enlightenment. Family and friends hold a special place in my heart, and I cherish the moments spent with them. These connections serve as a source of support, strength, and laughter, grounding me in the midst of life's adventures. One of my significant goals is to contribute to the well-being of the LGBTQ+ community in Pocatello, Idaho. Being part of this community has instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility to foster inclusivity, understanding, and support. Through my journey, I aspire to be a positive force, advocating for equality and contributing to a more compassionate and accepting community. As I continue to navigate the tapestry of life, each thread woven in Pocatello has played a pivotal role in shaping the person I am today. I look forward to the future with optimism, embracing both the challenges and triumphs that lie ahead.
